Swype Software data collection
The Swype text input solution software that is downloaded or pre-installed on mobile handsets does not collect, retrieve or store any user information of any kind.
The Swype installer software collects information about the phone itself (model, IMEI #, etc.) in order to guarantee successful installation of the Swype text input software.
Swype Website Information Gathering and Usage
When you register for an account with Swype we ask for information such as your email address. Depending on the Service, we may also ask for your name and address.
